- I went through all the ads of grocery stores and pharmacies that I want to go to and compared to coupons. (Took me FOREVER, lucky for you I will post everything that I found for you guys to make it easier!)
- I made a list of the coupons I had and where they could be used.
- Made a list of what I NEEDED right now and the cost after coupon.
- Got together all the coupons that I NEED for this trip, my shopping list and my money and put in an envelope.

I got other items as well, but these are the deals that I got. My sister went with me and she banked on the 10/10 at CVS and Kroger! She got me some stuff as well, because the deals were just too good. But with the $28.00 I took with me to go shopping I managed to get all the things on my list!
I feel like I did really well. I calculated that I had got 17 items, including what was bought for me, and nothing was more than $2.41/ item, and I got ground beef and frozen chicken breasts! This is the best that I have done grocery shopping.
Tom Thumb is the best for finding dairy cheap... we used to go a lot. Kroger on sunday EARLY morning always has reduced meat as well.
ReplyDeleteWell I really was in there for the few things that I got, and since there is no A/C in the car that I was in, I was in a hurry! LOL!
ReplyDeleteI just might have to remain anonymous. Here is what I have found....1)Tom Thumb has reduced dairy (I buy on Tuesdays)
ReplyDelete2) 99cent Store has produce truck every Monday night. Tuesdays are stocked with FABULOUS vegetables, bagged salads, fruits. Yesterday, I bought 1 Gal. of Minute Maid OJ, Lean Cuisine frozen dinners, strawberries, red peppers and broccoli...all for 99 cents. If you eBay or resell...check them out for other items-I bought L'eggs shapers there and sold all 35, with people emailing me for more. Come with me this next Tuesday!
