Swagbucks and Free Stuff
So many of you have probably seen the link I have been posting for swagbucks. But you are wondering, what the hell is it? Well lets talk about it.
How many times do you think you search for something on the internet in a day? I know I search a lot. With school, trying to find things to do with the kiddo during the day, and just wanting to know what is really going on in the world. Well I found out about this swagbucks site. I did some investigating. And I have to do is search through them and earn points! It is that simple. Well, it's not points, they call them Swagbucks. But save up the points to redeem for really cool things. My plan is just to use it for the $5 Amazon Gift Cards they have. And the cool thing is that I have already earned one of those gift cards in less than a week.
Apparently there are people that do even better than that. There is a limit of 2 of the same gift card per day and a limit of 5 of the same gift card per month, and I am reading about people who have already hit their limits on that! I love free money, I love shopping, and I love Amazon, so why not just use a different search engine to look for answers I need and earn stuff too!
The prize amounts range from $1-$100 SB at a time. That means that one search could land you up to $100 SB!!!! And you can win multiple in a day! But if you want to earn more, it's really easy. They have this section called Trusted Surveys, and you can go here and take a survey and earn more SB. You get one just for checking it once a day! That same page has a section called profiles that you can click on. You fill out the profile questions, which other sites do not give you much of anything for, and you earn points for those too! And when these are done, they are going to know what surveys you should take to earn points, so more chances for points.
I downloaded the toolbar that you can get from them as well. I earned points for doing that, and everyday when I start my internet browser. But really it just makes it easier on me for searching stuff. And instead of having to go to their web page, I just open a new tab and search in the tool bar, like you do with Google. Plus there is a little message section that you can only get on the toolbar and the The Swagbucks Guy, as he is nicknamed, will send you messages of codes you need to use to earn more.
There are also offers to complete, if you want to, that will earn you points. I don't do those, but some people do and they are really banking off the points! Now if I did not have Netflix already, I probably would have done that one, but I am already a member with them, so no points for me. But if there was something that you wanted to try before and just never did, do it through this website and earn points just for trying it out!
And, last but not least, there is a section called Daily Polls. You get a point just for answering a poll. I know that it is not much, but every bit helps.

Alright people. Since I just started couponing, I do not have many that I look back at and see what all can be used. But with the Dallas Morning News Paper coupon inserts from 6/13 you can get the following deals:

Anytime that you see a (q) that means coupon. When I get the paper next week, I will start posting the dates the (q's) were in the paper beside it. This way we are making sure we are maximizing all coupons that we have! I hope that this has helped someone!
P.S. You need to get club cards to all of the stores that offer them. You are able to use two coupons on one deal at most stores. Meaning, I can go on to the Tom Thumb website and load coupons on to my Tom Thumb card and I can still use the same coupon if I have a physical one as well. This works for Tom Thumb and Kroger. I got three boxes of Hamburger Helper today from Tom Thumb for $6.00 but I had a physical $.75 off and 2 of those same ones on my card! So I got 3 boxes for $3.75!

First Trip Couponing
It is a small trip because I do not have lots of money, but I had $28.00 and I was going to try to get all the stuff on my list that I need. This is what I did before hand:

Bread w/ Cheese from Bakery, $1.29 instead of $3.50

Reduced Jimmy Dean was .99/1, $2/2 q, FREE!
Reduced Deli Creations were $.99 each
18 ct eggs were on overstock clearance for $1.49
I got other items as well, but these are the deals that I got. My sister went with me and she banked on the 10/10 at CVS and Kroger! She got me some stuff as well, because the deals were just too good. But with the $28.00 I took with me to go shopping I managed to get all the things on my list!
I feel like I did really well. I calculated that I had got 17 items, including what was bought for me, and nothing was more than $2.41/ item, and I got ground beef and frozen chicken breasts! This is the best that I have done grocery shopping.
- I went through all the ads of grocery stores and pharmacies that I want to go to and compared to coupons. (Took me FOREVER, lucky for you I will post everything that I found for you guys to make it easier!)
- I made a list of the coupons I had and where they could be used.
- Made a list of what I NEEDED right now and the cost after coupon.
- Got together all the coupons that I NEED for this trip, my shopping list and my money and put in an envelope.

Free Stuff Today
One of my favorite places to get free stuff is Walmart.com. I check here at least once a week for what they are giving away in frees. This time there is Purina One Dog or Cat food sample, Cottenelle, Playtex Gentle Glide, Bodycology, Crest 3d White Strips, Zantec, and Nivea. That is 7 samples all in one place! LOVE IT! I will post more frees as I find them, right now I am compiling my list of great deals with coupons. So give me time and I will have great deals for you!
Oh today!
So I did some shopping with my little sister Kathleen. And we really have normal spots that she likes to go to, but today we shook it up. If any of you like anything about Germany and it's foods, you should go to the German Deli in Carrolton. It is a favorite place of mine with authentic German food straight from Germany. Needless to say that we had a German Feast for dinner tonight! If you want directions let me know!

If you did not know, walk the back of the aisles at Target, that is where the majority of their clearance is. And if you have cat go now. We went to the one in Grapevine. And I got some cat food for 1.25 and it was Purina Good Life I think. Also, if you like to host parties, Target has lots of their drink mixers on clearance as well. Like 2.50 a bottle. So that was amazing. And as always, the dollar section has something for anyone. It is the best place to get gift bags and tissue paper and also is wonderful for holiday party decorations. They are stocked up on 4th of July stuff right now.
If you have not done it yet, go get the Sunday newspaper. I got mine today because it was the first time I was able to do so, and there are some great coupons. Tomorrow I plan to let you know where to use the coupons to get the most for your money or lack of money. I hope everyone has had a wonderful day!

Alright, so I have decided to blog. Not about whats going on in my life, but about the way I can get some sweet things with little or no money. A lot of you know that I never have any money, but I still manage to support my family and keep things running. Ricky is also a wonderful help, since he works and all, but there are little things that I think I do to make sure certain things happen. I know that lots of you are always interested in how I manage to pull of some of things that I pull off, so I have decided that if you are really interested then I am going to do this blog and let you know.
In this blog I will talk about the many things that I find online. I am not a person who sits on the computer all day looking for this stuff anymore. I have really reliable sources for this stuff and I want to be able to share the really good ones with everyone. I have also become the craigslist queen according to friends, so I will share any tips that I have for selling things on there as well.
Another thing that I am going to do is talk about my start in couponing. My sister used to do this all the time and she was really succesfull at it, so now it is my turn. I have gotten a website that is helping me get started. I will do everything I can to make sure everyone knows how much money they could be saving with coupons and how the best way to use them is. Now I am just now building my coupon sources, so it is going to take a little bit to really see huge results, but they will be happening.
